EA FC 26 Clubs captain checklist
A good captain removes uncertainty before the lobby and gives the team a small set of clear decisions on the pitch.

Step 1
Thirty minutes before kickoff
Confirm attendance, specialist positions and voice chat. Choose the shape for the actual group rather than yesterday's lineup.
Assign GK, central defence and holding midfield first, then place utility players.
Step 2
Publish one current lineup
Check all eleven players, position labels and substitutes. Save a dated or opponent version and share a poster or public link.
Do not circulate competing images; the team needs one active version.
Step 3
Agree on three calls
Define the first buildup pass, turnover reaction and owner of teammate pressure. Those rules remove the most expensive duplicate movements.
Use short repeatable calls and do not review the previous event while the next attack continues.
Step 4
After the match set
Record one repeatable strength and one recurring problem. Save a changed lineup only after a clear conclusion.
Do not judge a formation from one scoreline; separate structural errors from execution and random events.
