EA FC 26 Clubs tactics for 4–6 players

A medium group can control the central spine but still depends heavily on AI decisions in uncovered positions.

Step 1

Cover the human spine

Assign GK or CB, CDM/CM, a creator and an attacker first. This vertical link participates in both phases and stops AI becoming the only passing route.

If nobody plays defence, use at least a human holding midfielder and one clear recovery rule.

Step 2

Do not fill both wings without cover

Human width helps when wide players recover together. Otherwise keep one wide human and strengthen the centre.

4-4-2, 4-1-3-2 and a 4-3-3 with two holding players are test options mentioned by players, not guaranteed answers.

Step 3

Assign the first presser

Name the player who attacks the ball after a turnover. Everyone else blocks nearby passes instead of repeating the same run.

The captain should call AI pressure after a clear trigger rather than holding it continuously.

Step 4

Review structure instead of score

After a set, mark which zones the opponent crossed with one pass and who was the last human ahead of the AI line.

Change one role or line at a time, save versions and compare like-for-like situations.
