EA FC 26 Clubs Archetypes: choosing a Virtual Pro role
The most useful Archetype is the one that supports the actions a player repeatedly performs in your system.

Start with the job
Write down the player's recurring work: running behind, connecting lines, holding width, protecting the centre or starting buildup.
That job filters out attractive attribute profiles that do not match the player's actual decisions.
Connect Archetype and position
Position sets the starting zone; Archetype describes the playing profile. Do not copy a build across positions without checking the responsibilities.
Save a separate alternative when a secondary position changes the job substantially.
Test a series, not one match
A single result is heavily shaped by the opponent and isolated moments. Compare several matches with the same role and a similar lineup.
Review availability for passes, dangerous turnovers and movement quality rather than relying on a vague meta verdict.
What a captain should record
Primary position, realistic secondary position and one short function note are enough for a usable roster.
When the formation changes, preserve the player's job first and find the nearest suitable slot second.
