Read the rules

Confirm squad size, restrictions, lobby time and substitution rules. One missed restriction can break a familiar shape.

Step 2

Create a starter list, a substitute list and a plan for a missing specialist. Record a realistic secondary role for every substitute.

Step 3

Lock the shape, check communication and play in short blocks. Change one clear thing between matches.
