EA FC 26 Clubs formations for 2, 3, 5 and 11 players

Human player count changes both slot coverage and how much space the team controls directly.

Two or three human players

A small group benefits from a clear central connection and human roles that can support one another.

Community AI settings are patch-sensitive, so test them over several matches and keep a fallback shape.

Four to six human players

A medium group can control the spine and one side manually. Place goalkeeper, central defence, holding midfield and the connector first.

Width only helps when wide roles recover consistently; a compact alternative is easier when attendance changes.

A full 11v11 lineup

A full side needs shared distances and transition responsibilities. The formation name matters less than a common understanding of what happens after possession changes.

Save a primary version and a fallback for one missing specialist, then share a readable team sheet.

Choose without guessing

Map available positions, remove shapes with several uncovered specialists, then test two finalists with the same group.

Do not crown a formation after one result. Record where the structure broke and which slot remained difficult to fill.
